About the client

Worten is a Portuguese consumer electronics and entertainment company. It is present in the main regions of Portugal, with a network of stores of two distinct types: superstores, located in the shopping galleries of Continente Modelo hypermarkets, and megastores, located in the main shopping centres. It currently has more than 180 stores in Portugal.

Challenge

Evolving the maturity level of quality automation at Worten, acting as an advisor to the DevOps Center of Excellence. Training the manual functional test analysts from the product teams to work with automation at scale.

Solution

DBServices applied its own planning and execution methodology to make inroads into the development teams, operating on cyclical and intensive models of diagnosis, development, continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.

Result

Automation of the early versions of the regression testing scenarios. Training of the QA team (learning by example), identification of gaps in code quality, architecture and security.
